"Bahasa Penggerak Bangsa, Seni Penjunjung Budaya"

The Persatuan Behasa Melayu (RERBAYU) was established in 2000 by

then-students Md Salam Nasip and Syahida Johan with the goal of
bringing the Malay language and culture to life, and instilling
passion in the hearts of the students for the Malay language.

Guided closely by Malay teacher Cikgu Masnia Nassim, PERBAYU fiercely
stands up to its  motto " Bahasa Penggerak Bangsa, Seni Penjunjung
Budaya". Among the activities organized by PERBAYU is the "Bulan
Bahasa", a month-long campaign promoting Malay tradition and culture.

PERBAYU aspires to improve the use of Malay language through more
interesting approaches. This includes organizing events like Jelira
Bayu, to showcase silat, wayang kulit, dikir barat. There also field trips to relevant places like Taman Warisan (the Malay Heritage centre.) and language
workshops have been organised for students too.
